I have always thought Oil Painting would be great fun. We were staying in a travel trailer not far from Owasso, Oklahoma and I read about this class on oil painting. I picked up a little 5x7 board , a few paints, a couple of brushes and was off to discover a new hobby I had never tried before. I will never forget how confused I felt . When she started instructing she did not slow down for anyone. By the time I figured out what medium was everyone else was finished. Well I finished mine too. Now you have to remember , when I left there I was so proud of what I had done I could not hardly contain myself. Below is a Photo of my first masterpiece.

Sock Monkeys
Well guess what? I finally remembered my password. Why in the world don't I write everything down?
I decided to make some of those Rockford Red Heel sock monkeys for my great grandkids. Finally got them finished and gave to them. It really kept me busy for awhile which was what I needed at the time. Anyway I will try at this time to get a photo of them on here. Still learning to do the blog thing. Maybe this time I will stay with it until I get more aquainted with everything on here. I am really bored with TV at this time and can find nothing I want to sit and watch. Ok, got the photos on . My great-grand-daughter posed the monkeys as if they were playing on the computer. I also knitted the hats and scarves on a Boyle Knitting Loom I purchased at Wal Mart.
